2. The customers are always right…even when they're wrong. You'll have to deal with a lot of difficult customers while working in retail. Most retail places offer their employees some sort of discount on purchases, but depending on where you work, that discount might not save you much money in the long run – especially if you're constantly buying things that you don't need just because they're "on sale."
8. There's no such thing as a "normal" day at work." Working in retail means that every day is different – and that can be both good and bad depending on your perspective.
